Hello there, my name is Mike. I grew up in a rural town up in Northeastern PA, before moving down to Philadelphia for schooling. I've always had quite a few passions such as photography, cooking, cars, video games and advertising. Knowing that I would only want to do one of those for a living, and keeping the others as my hobbies, I ventured off to the city to start my graphic design career. It was a huge change of pace, but I feel that I've adapted well and thoroughly enjoyed the new place that I would call home.
I am a passionate graphic designer who is known for being hard-working and a natural leader. I have a simplistic approach to all projects, and do all of my work as well and efficient as possible.
Right out of college I turned my internship into a full-time position. I ran the design department of an international company, created a new overall look of their brand, was in charge of all printed materials, stationery, email signatures, office templates, and helped out in any task that I could. My daily tasks were keeping over 300 product datasheets up-to-date, in numerous languages and formats, as well as creating new documents as needed, often in short time constraints.
After that position, I became the graphic designer for a medical software company where I was in charge of all of their printed materials, such as: sales pieces, promotional materials, stationery, trade-show booths, internal documents, on-site graphics, and all user conference materials.
I was also in charge of all new branding, email marketing, newsletters, online promotions, printer store-front management, wiki development and maintenance, website updates, banner ad creation, and email signatures.
Then I was with an agency that specialized in the medical device and diagnostics market. At this job I was in charge of creating and maintaining strict templates and presentations for various companies. I was also tasked with creating print advertisements, sell-sheets, magazine articles, branding, and various forms of content marketing. It was a fast-paced job, that required a lot of time management and the ability to work well in a group.
Currently I am with an agency that specializes in animal healthcare, working closely with their current design team in the development, design, and production of numerous campaigns for multiple clients.
Helping to create and taking the lead on various projects including, print ads, product brochures, web sites, banner ads, digital toolkits, logo development, packaging, presentations, tradeshow booths and materials, and more.
I am always motivated to better myself and help out where I can, I am a team-player who will try to help a business run in the best way possible.
